USIT's Technical Field Services teams mobilize from our location
in Livonia, Michigan. Our professional chemists receive extensive,
on-going EPA and DOT training covering regulations for packing,
transportation and disposal of hazardous materials. USIT makes sure
your wastes will be collected, transported and disposed of in the
safest manner possible.
LAB PACK WASTE:
Our Technical Field Service teams specialize in the proper categorization,
packaging and transportation of lab pack waste. Once at the generator's
site, USIT chemists complete a contingency plan outlining the health
and safety information for that specific job including a safety
station, spill control equipment, fire extinguishers and a first
aid kit.
Waste is then segregated and packaged into approved drums and containers.
Appropriate shipping labels are affixed, and USIT chemists complete
all required paperwork, including hazardous waste manifests and
land disposal restriction forms. All paperwork is reviewed and approved
by the generator. USIT then transports your drums to a state-of-the-art
depack facility or incinerator for processing.
